Here’s a bit about myself and my journey so far…
I was born in Chicago and started traveling the world at an early age, living in Israel, Japan, Thailand, Germany, and Prague while working as an English Teacher/ Carpenter/ Musician.
I returned home in the late 1990s and settled in New York City where I fell in love and married my wife, Makiko.
Story telling has always been my passion, and I started working in the independent film world as a writer/ director.
I loved my work and made a decent living, but with the wonderful blessing of our son Izak, we became a 1-income family and I moved into a sales career to earn more money.
It wasn’t the excitement of the film world, but I found that my story-telling skills were a perfect match for sharing knowledge, building relationships and earning trust, which is what sales are all about.
I did quite well, moving up in the ranks and personally bringing in over $10 Million in 3 years. During that time I was also given the responsibility of building a team under me by teaching my methods and techniques. I really enjoyed helping others succeed, and I'm proud to say that no one on my team ever made less than a Six Figure Income.
As much as we loved NYC, Makiko and I decided we wanted somewhere with more space, more green, and a better environment to raise our son. My company agreed to let us move all the way across the country to Portland, OR, where I ran the West Coast office and rapidly expanded the territory.
Makiko and I were thrilled about the move and the direction our life was going. We were blessed with the birth of our daughter Sakura and after much deliberation, we bought our dream house.
When the economy tanked last fall the company went out of business, and instead of looking for another 9-5 in a shrinking job market, I knew there had to be a way to earn the same kind of money working from home and have more freedom in my lifestyle and more time to spend with my family.
So I got into network marketing… and at first, I struggled doing things the old fashioned way, belly to belly, buying tons of leads, cold calling, home meetings, all that old school stuff.
I quickly realized this wasn’t the way I wanted to live my life, let alone a smart way to run a marketing business. So I brought my business online, and I did see some improved results, but I didn’t have a system in place, and I still wasn’t anywhere near where I wanted to be.
The big game changer for me was when I met a marketing coach online who took me under his wing and introduced me to a system that revolutionized the way I advertised and my marketed my business and allowed me explode my profits immediately!
