Celebrating our daughter's 2nd birthday reminds me in a very powerful heartfelt way both WHY I started working as an online business mentor (more time freedom to spend with my family) and just how GRATEFUL I am for all our gifts and blessings.

Is MOR Vacations for real? Many people talk about the MOR vacations scam. So I thought I would help you get the straight facts.

MOR Vacations comes on with a lot of hype and a very hard sell, and it can be difficult to get the truth. It seems their primary marketing tactic is to compare themselves to Global Resorts and then say how much better they are.

Only problem is – they’re not entirely truthful.

First off, MOR vacations will tell you that GRN is a foreign based company, which is ridiculous.

Secondly, they don’t tell you that MOR Vacations is essentially a knock-off of GRN. The founders of MOR  were all involved in GRN at one point before they got greedy and decided to form a spin-off company.

In addition (and most important for you as a prospective business owner) MOR Vacations doesn’t tell you that although their product is nearly identical to GRN’s (and as such, a quality product with real value) their Pay Plan has FATAL FLAWS that make it incredibly weak when compared to GRN.

Essentially, there’s no real leverage and you only make ½ commissions from the efforts of your team. Which means you will forever have to work overtime to maintain a 6 figure business.

Finally, there is the overall pattern of deception and lack of transparency related to the founders of MOR vacations.

In the end of the day, you’re still being reduced to paying for leads and cold-calling. And that’s no way to run a successful business in 2010.

A great mind and a very effective funny and gentle teacher.

I never met Jim Rohn personally but I’ve listened to his tapes and found a great deal of wisdom in his words. Here’s one of his many great speeches. Some of my favorites:

1)      “Profits are better than wages”

2)      “Wages make you a living… profits make you a FORTUNE!” (and you can start RIGHT NOW working part time on your fortune while still you’re working full time to make a living…)

3)      “Your income is directly related to your philosophy – NOT the economy”

4)      “Success is NOT something you pursue… it’s something you ATTRACT… by becoming an attractive person” (= providing real value!)
